The Center for Spiritual Transformation was created to facilitate the process of transformation for ourselves and others through a daily practice of meditation/contemplative prayer and awareness throughout our lives.Our courses and retreats embrace universal wisdom teachings and recognize the importance of intention, morality, awareness, equanimity and service.
This mountain retreat center is located above Idaho Springs on Hwy 103 near Echo Lake. Driving time from Denver is approximately one hour. This is sacred land. To maintain the purity of the natural environment we ask that people not bring alcohol, tobacco products of any kind, nor any addictive drugs when you come to share this experience.
We are currently offering individual retreats where people are welcome to spend time in nature, observe silence if they desire, take a break from city life and busyness – all in an effort to connect with nature and with your Higher Sacred Self. We are open from May 1 through October 31 and one may come for individual retreat from the 1st through the 25th of any month. The Center is closed the 26th through the 31st of each month and from November 1 through April 30.
There are four apartments, each with their own kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms. You can view pictures of the Forest Lodge units on the Photo Gallery page. These are offered at no cost as the Center is supported solely by voluntary contributions. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and you may register on the Schedule & Calendar page. Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive confirmation along with a list of what to bring and directions to the Center.
